Weyl groups one step from infinity

Abstract
The study of Lie algebras of finite dimension gave us several tools for
the classification. One important was the Weyl groups, that is the
subgroup of GL(n) generated by reflections of the basiselements of
rootsystems of the algebra. This gives some very exiting groups and I
will try to describe some phenomena on the limit to infinite systems.
